The vase shown on the following post was the easiest ever way to dress up a plain vase for almost any occasion...and inexpensive too :o)  They now have the semi-transparent wall stickers/saying at the Dollar Tree. I have these on some of the walls in my home and I love them (see an example below).  First, pick out the saying you like best (I recommend doing this before you get the plain vase as there are different sizes).  Then, based on the size of the saying, apply the sticker to your plain vase (sometimes you might be lucky enough to find your vase in a local Goodwill or Thrift store but I usually find mine at TJ Maxx or Marshalls).  I then put the glass gems in the bottom (I've used clear but when you are not using a waterproof light in the bottom like I do a sea-green color brings light to the bottom of the vase).  It's a very easy project and the results are awesome and allows you to personalize the vase for gifts, occasions or for yourself :o)  Of course, I will be happy to sell you the finished product that would include the decorated vase, the gems and the waterproof light all for about $15.00 on average (based on what you tell me you want).

I got these cool new underwater, battery operated lights.  I couldn't wait to try them out so I made a vase for a Engagement party tonight and tried one in there.  It's hard to tell with the picture but I plan to take more pictures when I get the whole centerpiece, along with the vase and flowers, set up tonight.

Be sure to check out my Facebook page at  https://www.facebook.com/moonlightingmoonlighter
It's open to the 'public' so anyone can check it out.  Since they changed to the new timeline style homepage, you can view my creations easier than you can on here.  Let me know what you think.

Surprise, Surprise, Surprise...more creations...but hand-painting these which can be used for candle-holders or vases.  Loved making these...haven't painted in years and years (25+!!) and have wanted to get back to it forever!

More 'New-Moons' created for the 3-3 Craft Show.
I've made some of them to be Moons using battery twinkle lights and others to be used with candles with the opening at the top.

These New-Moons ;^)  create a very dramatic lighting effect with reflected light coming through the gems.  I am not a photographer so my pictures do not show the total effect.

New-Moons ;^)  These create a wonderful lighting effect using the flameless twinkle lights inside them.

Different shapes, sizes and lighting effects above.
Gold grouping of Moons and Holders

More of the Candle-holders I made for the Craft show 3-3

This grouping was made for the craft sale on 3/3.

This one is large and has 2 floating candles for a dramatic effect.

You will see the about lit at night in my next blog.
The above is a very tall holder.  I will be trading out the shorter candle for a taller on which should suit this better.

I did get a booth for the Best Friend Park Craft/Yard Sales on Saturday, 3/3 from 9-3.  I will have both Moons and Candle-holders for sale and on display (in case you are interested in having me create something specific to an event or your home decor).  Come take a look!!  It is in the gymnasium so weather is not an issue...and they'll be a lot of other booths to look at as well.  See you there,  Maureen
I am going today to see if I can get into the Craft/Yard sale at Best Friend Park in Norcross on 3/3.  They only have 8 spaces left so I'm hoping they are not all gone by the time I get there.  I will be displaying and selling my Moons and Candle-holders if I do get in.  I will update my post later today to let y'all know if I get a spot and where it will be.

These are the last 'Moons' for the wedding (outside lighting).  Used their 'Save the Date' invites.

I have tried several times to post a video on here to help illustrate the Moons and Candle-holders lighting effect when lit; however, it does not seem to work (or I'm too technically challenged to post it correctly).  If you would like to see a video, please visit my Facebook page at  https://www.facebook.com/moonlightingmoonlighter  as I have posted it successfully there.

I created these candle holders for my niece's wedding reception for the centerpieces.  I've decided against the red tulle and will be using only a small amount of black with red rose petals.  Should be a very dramatic effect.
